Meet our speaker: Anne Bal-Schienke


Anne Bal-Schienke leads change management at DTE Energy, a Detroit-based energy company. Anne and the organizational change management (OCM) team help DTE manage the “people side” of large changes through the delivery of standard change processes and deliverables like stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments, communications and engagement plans, and change networks. As an internal consulting group, the OCM team is well-positioned to ensure that DTE’s most impactful changes are successful, engaging, and align to cultural values. Prior to DTE, Anne gained expertise in a variety of HR roles at Fortune 500 companies in both the CPG and auto industries by delivering best-in-class solutions for succession planning, talent development, performance management, assessment, engagement, and people analytics. She has led similar efforts at DTE and most recently led DTE’s leadership and professional development strategy and programs. Anne earned her Bachelor’s Degree from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and her Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
